How records are stored

All inspection notes you enter are saved as plain-text files on the server. There is no encryption applied to the content of these files.

Do not enter personal information in your inspection notes — no names, addresses, phone numbers, financial details, or any other data you would not want stored as unencrypted plain text.

Keep notes focused on beekeeping observations: hive condition, queen status, brood, stores, treatments, and next actions.

Data processors

Zanboor shares your data with the following third-party processors:

Application logs (request URLs, IP addresses, timestamps) are retained for 30 days for debugging and security monitoring.

Account sharing

Each account is for one person only. Accounts must not be shared between users.

Your rights — deleting your account and data

Under UK GDPR (Article 17, "right to erasure") you can delete your Zanboor account at any time. Your name, email, all apiaries, hives, inspection records, photos, mite-counter results, shares, and any feedback you submitted will be permanently removed.

To delete your account: open your Profile page, scroll to Danger Zone, confirm your password, and click Permanently delete my account. We will send you a confirmation email immediately afterwards.

Deletion is irreversible. If you only want to stop receiving emails, use the Email Preferences toggle on the Profile page instead.
